Louise Warwick

Hello, I'm Louise, a glass artist and collage illustrator based in the UK. I have a BA in Illustration and an MA in Children's Book Illustration. I currently work as a freelance artist making stained glass pieces and illustrating. I take commissions in both of these areas.

I love to work in a mix of traditional paper collage with the addition of some digital detailing. Some of my collages have a 3D depth to them and I love to play around with the shadows that a collage can create when you scan it to make it digital.

I'm a keen observational drawer and will often have a sketchbook in my hand when out and about. I love to use my sketchbooks to experiment with different materials. Some of my favourites are brush pens, china markers, indian ink, gouache or watercolour. This is an integral part of my creative practice and a great source of inspiration that feeds all areas of my work.

I have worked across a wide range of disciplines, illustrating for children's books and editorial, designing Christmas cards, as well as selling my own work at art and craft fairs.
